Just as the .org domain reaches the seven million mark the .uk is not that far behind. Nominet have just announced on 28th August that they have registered over seven million .uk domains.
UK online businesses and users alike are aware of the value of having a co.uk and are more likely as a UK internet user to choose a co.uk compared to a .com. In fact and independent survey shows that 72% of UK residents were more likely to use a co.uk domain. This shows that .uk domain has developed a high level of trust among its users and among customers and also the importance of having an .uk domain for a UK based business.
